I’m not your average Museum Curator and Archivist; I safeguard Absa Group’s rich history, but my true passion lies in unearthing South Africa’s forgotten narratives and weaving them into a vibrant tapestry of inclusivity and innovation.
My academic fabric is a blend of tourism development and historical studies, culminating in a master’s degree focused on amplifying Neglected Heritage. That’s where the spark ignited – I saw the power of hidden stories to challenge perspectives and rewrite narratives.
My previous experience in tertiary education – spanning tourism development, HR, and research – laid the groundwork for my current mission. Today, I’m not just preserving Absa’s legacy; I’m actively advocating for accessibility, ensuring everyone can experience the diverse tapestry of South African heritage.
I’m not just a curator; I’m a storyteller, a bridge builder, and a passionate advocate for South Africa’s untold tales.
