Nkuli Mlangeni-Berg

Nkuli Mlangeni-Berg is a creative entrepreneur, organizer and founder of the award-winning studio The Ninevites. She grew up in Johannesburg and is currently based in Sweden. She graduated at the Kaospilot school of Innovation and leadership in 2016 and she has participated in numerous international projects and exhibitions. She was recently named as Monocle Magazine Best Newcomer for the Monocle Design Awards and was featured in the New York Times’ “African Designers influencing the world”. She is passionate about black culture, archives, heritage preservation, women empowerment and cultural documentation.
